Explore the anatomy of the breath and a variety of breathing techniques to evoke different effects in the body and mind. We will explore how to calm the nervous system, how to quiet the mind, but also how to energize and uplift ourselves as well, all with the use of just your breath! This course is a combination of lecture/educational material and practical application/light movement. Your breath is a powerful tool and this course will introduce breathing techniques you can use in your yoga practice, but also in your everyday life.
